Miaochan Zhi grew up in a small traditional village in China without
electricity or running water, where the family purchased only salt and sugar; everything else came from the land. This natural, self-sufficient upbringing and her parents’ farming background form the foundation of her commitment to sustainable farming and regenerative land stewardship.
